TROY, NYNovember 3, 2014 – Rhett Tyler’s passion and support of helping the homeless and low-income community are the foundation for his upcoming acoustic performance at a fundraiser for the Albany based Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless (IPH). The event will take place on Friday November 14th at the Brown’s Brewing Co. Taproom located at 417 River St in Troy, NY. Showtime is 9:00 PM and admission is free. Donations for the IPH are encouraged and will gladly be accepted at the event.

The IPH has been serving the capital district’s homeless and low-income community for three decades. 2014 marks their 30th anniversary. Their mission is to address the needs of the homeless and low-income community by providing a continuum of services to encourage self-sufficiency, empowerment, and stability.

Expect nothing less than a high-octane, house rockin’, intimate performance from Rhett Tyler as he takes the audience on a soulful musical journey stimulating mind and spirit with sizzling guitar licks, compelling rhythms, and passionate heartfelt vocals. This is modern acoustic blues at a whole new level.

Donald Wilcock, author of the Buddy Guy biography “Damn Right I’ve Got The Blues”, summed it up with ”Rhett is not just proficient throughout the spectrum of today’s blues, he’s a universal master of all… You gotta hear him live!”

Tyler’s career spans over four decades of innovative musical artistry. He has independently recorded eight CDs including his latest entitled “The Rhythm, The Power, The Blue” and was honored for his commitment and dedication in 2011 with an induction into the Blues Hall of Fame as Master Blues Artist from NY.
